Patsy Wright

Patsy Kittle Wright, 78, of Cartersville, GA passed away on January 8, 2023 at her home. 

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 

Born February 27, 1944, in Athens, Georgia, the daughter of the late Roger Henry Kittle, Sr and Mary Lou Strickland Kittle.   She graduated from Oconee County High School, in Watkinsville, GA.

Patsy was a former office manager at the office of Dr. Paul Boecler, orthodontist, where she met many wonderful people. Following that career Patsy spent the last 25 years as a Realtor, with ReMax Realty and Donald Ray Realty, she absolutely loved being a real estate agent. 

Patsy was an avid sports fan, she loved the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.

She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, a devout Christian who loved reading her bible and witnessing to others. Patsy was the youngest daughter of twelve children and was spoiled by her older siblings during her childhood.  In her pastime, she enjoyed shopping, going out to various restaurants, visiting with her friends and time with family. Patsy loved watching her grandchildren in their various sporting events, school activities and hobbies. She was so proud of all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patsy loved sharing stories about her family to friends, church family and co-workers. 

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Roger Jr, Clinton, Howell, Wilbur, Randolph, and Mickey; sisters, Mary Kittle, Frances Kittle Tyler, Rachel Kittle Coile, Martha Ann Kittle Michael.

She is survived by her brother, Jerry Kittle (Gail); three daughters, Kelly Wright Barrere (Marc), Dawn Wright Teer, JJ Wright Teems (Shawn); grandchildren, Spenser Thomas (Sarah), Chandler Blum (Kate),  Montana Teems (Emily), Logan Barrere (USAF), Reagan Barrere, Maddox Teems (fiancé Chloe Cochran), Mattie Blum, MaLaney Teems, Marlo Teems and London Barrere; great grandchildren, Jaggar Gilliland, River Gilliland, Scarlett Thomas and Knox Teems; friends of the grandchildren that were like family, Hunter Nation, Joseph Hudson and Isabel Navarro; special friends that she loved and had great respect for include; Kelly Teer, Brenda Kittle, Sue Tucker, Kelly Hayes, Nancy Corbin, Sarah Fischer, Linda Cozart and Peggy Basham.  Patsy is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Wright’s family would also like to thank Amedysis Hospice Cartersville, for the compassionate care they provided during her short illness, especially Molly, her precious nurse. 

Celebration Of Life Services will held be on Saturday, January 14, 2023, 1:00 pm at Grace Baptist Church, 477 Old Cassville White Road NW, Cartersville, GA 30120 with Pastor Kyle Clayton officiating. Georgia Funeral Care and Cremation Services, Acworth is in charge of arrangements. 

In celebration of Patsy’s life and love of the Georgia Bulldogs, the family is asking that everyone please wear red and black or Georgia Bulldog apparel.
