Paula Bernice Prentice age 72 of Calhoun GA departed this life with her family gathered around her on January 21st, 2024, at Gordon Health and Rehab.
Paula was a very dedicated worker. Working more than 40 years in healthcare field. Retiring from Cartersville Medical Center after 28 years. She was a breast cancer survivor, devoted, loving mother and grandmother. She loved everyone around her unconditionally.
She was born in Franklin Oklahoma on June 27th, 1951, the daughter of the late Jack Prentice and Mollie (Emery) Prentice in addition to her parents she proceeded in death by brothers Wallace, Wendell and Billy sisters Mary Lee Roland and Juanita Nix.
She is survived by her brothers GW, Aubrey, Dean, and sisters Margie Rhodes, Alice Guillet, and Margaret Nelson, son’s Shane Ingle and Matthew and his wife Brandi, her daughter Amber Brown and her husband Marty. Her grandchildren, Luke, Brittany, Zoe, Stormie, Kindle, Josh, Shanda Payne, Evan, Rebekah, Madison Cheyenne Bernice Ponders, Macy and Jaxson Brown, and 9 Great Grandchildren.
A service to celebrate the life of Paula Bernice Prentice will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 4:00 pm from College Street Church of God with Dewayne Smith officiating. located at 731 College St. Calhoun GA 30701. Prior to the service the family will receive friends between the hours of 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
