Phyllis Ann Wingo ( 1947- 2026)

If you knew or were ever greeted by Phyllis, you would have noticed her beautiful, heart warming smile.

Phyllis Ann Wingo, 79, of Acworth, Ga. died of natural causes on September 22, 2026 at her home.

She was born in Port Sulphur, La. in 1947 to Arthur and Ruby Mayard Sr. and oldest sister to and preceded in death by her parents and brother Paul, Clint and Brian and survived by her baby brother Michael (Kim) and sister in laws Rose and Donna and her Godson Kevin Lopez as well as over a dozen of nieces and nephews who she loved dearly!

In 1967, she moved to Cobb County Ga. to marry her late husband and Love of her Life, Ronald C Wingo Sr. and is survived by her brother in law Fred Wingo Jr.

In 1970, she became a loving and dedicated mother to her surviving children Tyra (John), Peyton Duggar ( Jason), Ron (Jana).

She became Memaw in 2004 to her lucky, new obsession who she was living her whole life for grandchildren, Jayton and Jonah Duggar and Kylie Wingo.

Phyllis was a full time domestic godess, community activist included school PTA's, Rec Leagues, and PROWL. She helped her husband run several family business's ranging from rental property, swimming pools and general construction work. She thrived and found her calling as Caregiver, both in facility and private homes for the last 20 years.

She left an impression on anyone she ever encountered.

She was a proud member of The Fellowship of County Line in Acworth Ga.
