Randal "RD" Stephens, 77, of Acworth, GA, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2022. Randal was born November 5, 1944, in Cobb County, Georgia.

RD was a good and Honorable man. He loved his wife, children, family, friends and his Country. I met RD and Eloise for the first time 9yrs ago. We sat out on their front porch drinking sweet tea and cuttingup. He would tell great stories about family, friends and co-workers. He prayed for them also. He said Grace before eating and thanked God for the sunshine, rain and prayed for those that were sick, whether he knew them or not. He enjoyed just sitting and talking with those around him. He was blessed with a caring heart, had integrity and dignity. I'm so glad to have him (Dad) he was my father-n-law. He loved his woodworking, His work Family Cobb County Police Department. I'll see you someday again on the streets of Gold. I'll always be grateful for the times we have had together. Prayers for the family and those that knew him.

Randal is survived by his loving wife Eloise of 58 years, his son Scott Stephens & daughter-in-law Tammy, his Grandson Ethan Stephens-Sumpter & friend Savannah, and is preceded in death by his daughter, Angie Stephens. Randal was a retired Deputy Chief of the Cobb County Police Department and loved his Faith, Family, and Friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
