Raymond Henry Price

August 27, 1950 — August 7, 2025

Thomaston, GA

Raymond Henry Price, 74, of Thomaston, Georgia, peacefully passed away in the early morning hours of August 7, 2025, at Brightmore Hospice, just 20 days before his 75th birthday. Born in Avondale Estates, Georgia, Raymond dedicated much of his working life to the trucking industry, where he was known for his reliability and strong work ethic. Beyond his professional life, Raymond was a man of many talents and deep faith.

Music was one of Raymond's greatest passions. He was a gifted guitarist who found joy in playing and sharing his musical talents with others. His love for music extended to his faith, where he served as a cherished member of his church choir, lifting his voice in praise whenever his health permitted. Raymond was a deeply religious man whose faith provided him strength and comfort throughout his life. In his spare time, Raymond enjoyed restoring vehicles, a hobby that reflected his skilled hands and attention to detail. He took pride in bringing old machines back to life, much like the way his music and faith breathed life into the hearts of those around him. He is survived by his grandson Nicholas Little, his daughter Pamela Denise Denson and family; as well as sisters Martha Elrod and Jane Marshall.

A funeral service to celebrate Raymond's life will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Mountain View Baptist Church in Thomaston, Georgia.

Raymond's legacy lives on through the music he played, the faith he shared, and the love he gave to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Mountain View Baptist Church or a charity of your choice in Raymond's memory.
