Robert Haines Morast Jr.

Robert Haines Morast Jr., “Bobby” 67, of White Ga passed away Thursday February 1, 2024, after a long hard battle against Cancer.

Bobby was born in Atlanta Ga on December 6, 1957. Bobby was a truckdriver for over 27 years and loved every minute of it, especially working for Taylor Trucking and the friends he made while working there.

When at home, he spent most of his time playing with and entertaining his daughter Kourtney who was his pride and joy. Bobby loved kids and was a foster parent to over 30 kids including 1 exchange student from Germany.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going to the beach, camping, and as an adult,  discovered a love for Disney.  Bobby was very patriotic and a true Republican.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Angelina; daughter Kourtney Morast; son Jason Griffin(Carly), Fort Mill SC; Tiffani Taff (Daniel) Taylorsville GA; Denise Bagley (Mandy Stowell) Clermont FL; Logan Bagley (Anna), Cartersville GA; Elaina Morast, Monroe GA; Sisters Dorothy Farmer, Bluffton SC; Susan Nash (Rufus), Savannah GA; 12 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and some amazing friends.

Bobby is preceded in death by his Grand parents, Franklin Morast Sr and Dorothy Morast “Pop & Dot”, his parents, Robert Haines Morast Sr and Faye Morast of Calhoun Ga; His bio mother Dorothy Morast; his  sister Dorothy “Virginia” Morast; his brother Robert D Morast Sr; and nephew Robert D. Morast Jr “Robbie”.

A memorial will be held @ 2:00 pm Saturday, February 10th, at LifePoint Church in Cartersville. Bobby will take one last ride in a Taylor Truck as they bring his remains to the church. We know he will be smiling at that.

Bobby requested that In Lieu of flowers, an account has been established for Kourtney Morast at Regions Bank where donations can be made.
