SARAH FRANCES (DILLON) CORRELL 

Sarah Frances Correll, 85, of Monroe, Ga, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 12, 2025 Sarah was born July 18, 1939, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Fred & Christine (Mason) Dillon Sarah lived in several cities near Tampa Florida for many years with husband James Correll and moved to Georgia in 1977 Sarah, in addition to her 6 children, foster parented 186 children and adopted 2 foster children And as if she was not busy enough, Sarah loved dogs and operated a successful dog grooming business in Florida and Georgia for over 50 years. Sarah is survived by her children - Kymberlie Ward, Phillip Burdette, Charles Burdette, Dewayne Burdette, Jamie Correll and Marie Hargrove. With 20 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren, nieces & nephews and her brothers, George, Joe & Jerry Dillon Sarah loved to have family and friends around her all the time and loved to entertain and cook for them She was preceded in death by her husband James Correll, sisters Anna Jean (Dillon) Hendershot, Carol (Dillon) Willes, Wanda Dillon, Gertrude Cook, brother Stanley Dillon daughter Lynn Starbor and son Jimmy Correll. Sarah was loved by all she came in contact with and will be sorely missed by her family and friends. She now rests pain-free and at peace in Heaven watching over her family and friends.
