Steven B. Kelly

Steven Boyd Kelly was energetic, fun loving, and always had a positive attitude. On May 18, 2026, he lost his long and hard-fought battle with cancer. Throughout his career he worked in multiple fields including electrical and heating and air He graduated with his nursing degree from North Georgia College and State University in 1995. He went on to hold positions in private duty and home health, until he found his passion in hospice. During his hospice career, he touched many lives as a nurse, supervisor, mentor and teacher.

He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Kelly and step-father George Potter. 

Steven is survived by his mother Sylvia Potter, wife, Anita Hossfeld and brother, Wayne (Becky) Kelly. He loved his children: Lauren (Shane) Dickerson, Candace (Royce) Neumann, Cody Kelly, Lindsey Hossfeld and daughter-in-law, Sharon Kelly. He adored his grandchildren: Jeffrey, Evan, Robby, Ella, Alayna, Taylor, Palmer and Poppy and his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Steven was the life of the party, loved golf, listening to music and fishing from his beloved boat Nauti Buoy. He loved to travel and spend time with his friends and family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 2:00 pm from the Georgia Funeral Care Chapel, 4671 S. Main Street Acworth, GA 30101
