Theresa Lee Cline

July 31, 1942 — January 29, 2026

White, GA

Theresa Lee Cline, age 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, January 29, 2026. While our hearts grieve her loss, we find deep comfort and peace in knowing that she is now fully healed and joyfully reunited in Heaven with her beloved parents, Curran and Dora Lee, and her precious son, Joe Cline.

Theresa was born on July 31, 1942, and shared a close and meaningful bond with both of her parents and her brothers, W. C. Lee and J. D. Lee. Family remained the center of her world from beginning to end.

She was married for 64 years to Lamar, and together they were proud parents of Joe Cline, who preceded her in death, and Brad Cline, who survives her and is married to Myra. Theresa’s greatest earthly joy was being a grandmother. She adored her only grandchildren, Brittany (married to Matt, parents of Macy Jean and Cade) and Michelle, and treasured every moment spent with them. She loved being their grandmother more than anything in the world, and the time shared with her—days, nights, laughter, and quiet moments—will forever remain a gift beyond measure.

Theresa was known by all as the sweetest person. She was kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring, with a heart that put others first every single time. An excellent cook, she treated everyone in the family like royalty, making sure no one ever left her home hungry or unloved. Friendly, charming, and unfailingly warm, she never met a stranger. Her petite stature often brought a smile, and she loved telling people—with pride—that she stood at 4 foot 11 and ¾ inches tall, insisting that the three-quarters absolutely mattered.

She also had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved dog, Molly, who preceded her in death. Molly was a constant companion and brought her endless comfort and joy. We like to imagine that they are now happily reunited, enjoying each other’s company once again.

Her faith was the foundation of her life. Theresa was deeply active in her church and, in her younger years, shared her beautiful voice by singing solos. She prayed faithfully for her family and spoke openly and joyfully about Jesus every day. Her love for the Lord was not just spoken—it was lived, reflected in her gentleness, her generosity, and her constant care for others.

Above all, Theresa will be remembered for the way she loved. She made people feel safe, cherished, and deeply valued. Her legacy is one of faith, kindness, and a life well lived in service to both God and family.

As we celebrate Theresa’s life, we do so with gratitude for the years we were blessed to share with her and with hope in the promise of Heaven. We rejoice knowing she is now home, surrounded by loved ones, singing again, and resting in eternal peace.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Theresa’s life on Saturday February 21, 2026 at Peeples Valley Community Church, located at 430 Peeples Valley Rd, Cartersville, GA 30121. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 3:00 PM.
