In loving memory of Wanda Faye Butler (wife) of U.S. Veteran James Alvin Butler

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Wanda Faye Butler, aged 82. Born in Starks, La. Wanda was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a wonderful life with 62 yrs of marriage to James Alvin Butler that passed away July 1st, 2024. 

She is survived by 3 children ( Sandra Huprich, Shawn Butler, and Scott Butler), 4 grandchildren ( Rachel Shepard Aiello, Brittany Sonnier, Jordan Webb, and Amber Butler), and 6 great-grandchildren plus one on the way.

Wanda dedicated her life to her family! She loved to garden, work outside, cook, and love to fish. Although her family was her first love! She had a bond with her family like no other. She had a no quit attitude and like to share her stories of life with friends and family.

She would want to be remembered as a loving and happy woman that loved life and everyone around her!

Memorial service  will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Family will receive friends and loved ones at Georgia Funeral Care : 4671 South Main Street, Acworth, Ga. 30101 from 11:00am to 12:30pm for visitation and service.

Then depart for the National Cemetery 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA. Where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
