Warren Quinley

Warren Quinley, a devoted family man and respected member of the community, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loved ones at Wellstar Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain on June 14, 2023.

He was born on October 3, 1938, in Bay Minette, AL, to Warren Wilburn and Voncile Quinley.

Throughout his remarkable life, Warren's dedication to the service of the Lord was evident. He enjoyed a loving marriage of 65 years to his wife Dorothy Morgan Quinley and together they raised three sons: Chuck, Mike, and Jeff. Warren found great joy in his 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them.

Career-wise, after graduating from George Washington University in Washington, DC, Warren embarked on a successful journey in public accounting. He rose to the position of managing partner at Pannell, Kerr, Forster & Co. (PKF), a respected international accounting and consulting firm.

Additionally, Warren served as the Chief Financial Officer of the 1996 Atlanta Paralympic Games and later at the Science and Technology Museum of Atlanta.

Following the Paralympic Games, Warren and Dorothy dedicated five years to missions work in Manila, Philippines, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of hundreds. Upon returning to Atlanta, Warren continued his service by overseeing financial management for Emerge Missions, Inc. for two decades as a dedicated volunteer. His commitment to this organization positively impacted the lives of over 10,000 children.

In memory of Warren Quinley, the family kindly requests donations be made to HelpKidsFindFreedom.com, instead of sending flowers. This cause aligns with Warren's deep compassion for helping children and reflects his lifelong commitment to making a difference.

Warren Quinley will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, wisecracking grandfather, and respected professional. He was a true tribal patriarch. May he now rest in eternal peace with his Lord, Jesus, Maranatha!
