Willard Philip Rhodes

August 11, 1928- February 28, 2023

W. Philip Rhodes passed away peacefully February 28, 2023, at Wellstar Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain surround by family.

Philip was born in Gulfport, Mississippi to Willard P. and Onie P. Rhodes. He graduated from University of Texas with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and earned the rank of First Lieutenant. Upon discharge, he worked for Monsanto until he retired. He taught adult Bible Study for 60 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son Robert Rhodes. He is survived by his wife Beverly Rhodes, his sons Russell (Jema), Douglas, and Richard (Joanie) Rhodes, stepson Steven (Carolyn) Fontaine, sister Betty (John) Pendegrass, his niece, nephew, his grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at Resurrection Anglican Church 231 Arnold Mill Rd, Woodstock, GA.
