William A. Mallory, Jr.

William A. Mallory Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and proud Army veteran, passed away on January 1, 2026, in Acworth, Georgia. He was 90 years old.

Born on June 9, 1935, in Indiana, Pennsylvania, William lived a full and vibrant life marked by dedication to his family, service to his country, and a passion for enjoying every moment.

William served honorably in the United States Army, demonstrating courage and discipline that would remain hallmarks of his character throughout his life. His military service was a source of pride and reflected his deep sense of duty.

He was recently married to Yvonne R. Mallory, whose companionship and support brought him comfort, joy, and meaning during the final chapter of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne; his daughter Cathy Schneider and her husband Dean Schneider; his son David Crumine and daughter-in-law Michelle Crumine; and his sister Lois Quallich. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren—Courtney, Sydney, Derek, Sarah, Matthew, Cody, Calvin, and Colton

William had a zest for life that was evident in the way he embraced his favorite pastimes. He loved traveling to new places, dancing with joy and energy well into his later years, and attending social events where he could connect with others. These passions reflected his outgoing spirit and appreciation for life's experiences.
