William Jamie (Jimmy) Music

William Jamie Music passed away on Thursday April 9, 2026 at Wellcare Hospice in Austell after a brief illness.

 Jamie was born on September 25,1945 to Joel and Marjorie Music, in Douglasville, GA where he lived all his entire life. He attended Douglas High School and served in the Army, a two-year tour of duty in Vietnam during the worst part of that conflict. Upon returning from Vietnam, Jamie married and had two children.

Jamie is predeceased by his parents, brother Earl Music and nephew Mark Music.

Jamie is survived by his sister Rebecca Fishman (Leonard), nephew Walter Music (Alice) and numerous nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces. He also departs from his loving partner of many years, Barbara Styczynski.

 Visitation will be Wednesday, April 15 from 11:00am to 1:00pm with a service beginning at 1:00 PM from the chapel of the Georgia Funeral Care, 4671 S. Main Street Acworth, GA 30101 with Rev. Steve Pettit officiating.
