Wyatt Phillips

Wyatt C Phillips, 85, of Taylorsville, Ga passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at his residence. 

Born in Oconee, SC, he was the son of Coats L Phillips and Zelia Marie Thrift. 

He was a veteran of the Korean War and lived his life as a Truck Driver and was a well known member of the community selling produce and goods downtown Taylorsville for many years. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Ralph and Curley Phillips. 

Survivors include a sister Hilma Hilley of Powder Springs, Ga; a son David Phillips of Taylorsville, Ga; a daughter Debra Priest; 5 grandchildren Christopher Phillips of Cartersville, Ga, Carlie Wood (Phillips) of Cedartown, Ga, and Maci Phillips of Taylorsville, Ga; Leandra McElroy and Brigitte Strickland; and 10 great grandchildren. 

His burial service will be held at Ga National Veterans Cemetery in Canton Georgia on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 12:30pm.
