Zachary "Zach" Grant Banks

Zachary “Zach” Grant Banks, age 31, passed away on February 20, 2026. Born on February 18, 1995, Zach lived a life marked by kindness, laughter, and a genuine love for others. Zach was the beloved son of Sherri and Wayne Banks and a devoted brother to Meghan and Katelyn Banks (Larry Mollison). He was a proud and loving uncle to Jamari Mollison and his nieces, Genesis and Amirah Mollison, who brought him tremendous joy. He is also survived by his Aunt Lisa (Bill) Kirn; Uncle Jeffrey (Wendy) Jacobs; cousins Billy (Chelsea) Kirn, Catherine Kirn, Katie Ann Jacobs, and Russell “PeePaw” Childs; along with several great-aunts, great-uncles, and extended family members who cherished him deeply. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Zach had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. His warm smile, quick wit, and natural ability to make people laugh left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. He loved fishing, playing basketball, spending time outdoors, and caring for animals. Zach especially enjoyed working with cattle and found purpose in lending a helping hand to anyone in need. His generous spirit and love for life will be remembered always. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the True North Building on the campus of NorthStar Church, 3413 Blue Springs Road, Kennesaw, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 PM prior to the service. Zach’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
