Patricia Ann Patterson, age 78, passed away February 9, 2020 at Emory St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta, GA, after 3 months of complications due to congestive heart failure. Trish was a resident of Kennesaw, GA. She was born March 23, 1941, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to the late William and Annie Worden.
On July 11, 1990 Trish married her sweetheart of 7 years in San Bernardino, California. She’d found the love of her life. They shared 37 wonderful years together. Trish retired from San Bernardino, CA County Human Services System Department in 2000.
Trish loved people and never knew a stranger. She loved music, singing the Messiah at Christmas for several years was a highlight for her, she also loved classical and country music, writing short stories and poetry and had an extensive vocabulary! Trish loved giving and receiving greeting cards; they meant so much to her, she saved them ALL! She loved her Kennesaw Publix’s “family” at the Cobb Pkwy NW Ste 201 store. Gardening and flowers were her passion.
Trish is survived by her devoted husband: Edward F. Patterson, 2 sons: Devon (Nasaria) Nichols of Salinas, California, William (Leslie) Nichols of San Jose, California, her 2 Daughters: Cassandra (Derek) Dronet of Calumet and Amy (Robert) Teske of the Netherlands, and her Sister: Bonnie Worden, as well as many grand and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Henry (Connie) Nichols and her brother Joseph Worden.
A graveside service at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA, will be held on February 19, 2020, at 1:30 PM to honor her memory.
