Susan Margaret VonAlmen Egger; January 11, 1943 – May 31, 2018

Born January 11, 1943 in Hackettstown, New Jersey to Arthur & Margaret Smith VonAlmen passed away May 31, 2018 and will start anew with her Lord and Savior in Heaven.  Susie as she was known to her friends, and Bunny as she was known to her family, loved to volunteer her time for a number of causes, mostly notably, at the First Presbyterian Church, she donated blood to the Red Cross as often as possible her entire adult life, attended Alcoholics Anonymous meetings for 34 years, where she gave support to countless members, and cleaned up the grounds around the Etowah Indian Mounts.  She is survived by her sister Mabel Cullum of New Jersey, her son Paul Egger of Houston, TX as well as numerous extended family members and countless precious friends. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM Saturday June 9, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church in Cartersville, GA followed by a visitation.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Susan’s name to Compassion International, 12290 Voyager Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80921.  800-336-7676 www.compassion.com.  Condolences can be left for the family at www.GeorgiaFuneralCare.com
