Do You Need A Casket For Cremation Services?

If you are planning cremation services in Acworth, GA and need to be able to plan when the cremation will be completed, you need to think about the options and all the ways to handle them. If you plan to bury the ashes, or if you are planning a traditional memorial service, we recommend that you consider purchasing a casket. Having a casket for cremation services may seem strange, but in practice there are many different ways to use it. Here are some tips and ideas to keep in mind when planning.

Will You Be Burying The Ashes?

Some people like the ease of cremation, but in the end they want to bury the ashes of their loved ones. You can do this by burying the ashes in a small jar or box, or by burying them as if they were without a container, but you can also bury traditional caskets. The ashes can be placed in a casket like a corpse, but then can be buried as usual. This allows for traditional funerals while still getting the convenience and low price of a cremation.

Is there a Memorial Service?

If you have undergone a traditional cremation but still need a funeral aspect, you may need a memorial or body show. You can do this before your body is cremated. In this case, there is a trial just like at the funeral, and when the trial is over, it is cremated. You can then decide whether to use the casket during the cremation or donate to the funeral home or someone else. Your memorial service will give loved ones a chance to say their goodbyes and get to see the deceased before the cremation. Some people need to see the body of their loves one and pay their respects and are not able to find closure if they do not get to do so.

What Did Your Loved One Prefer?

Your loved one may have planned the funeral before they died, as they have plans for certain things for their funeral. If they have already ordered and paid for the casket and would like to use it in the cremation service, you can choose it. How you use it is up to you. In some cases, while you were working on a funeral plan, your loved one clarified your requirements and plans. The funeral home supports the use of caskets and will be able to help you plan appropriately.

If you are planning a cremation service, you may not know if you need to buy a casket. There are many reasons why you can use a casket in the bathroom, but the above are just a few of them.
