Georgia Funeral Care Flag presentation at Felton Manor, in Cartersville, GA

On Thursday, July 27, 2017, Georgia Funeral Care founder Kevin R. Marcy and Darrell Waits, Georgia Funeral Care Veteran Liason, held a flag presentation at Felton Manor, in Cartersville, GA.  Family and friends were invited to attend this ceremony to honor 5 veterans for the sacrifice and service to our nation.  With the help of Chris and Rocky of Heartland Hospice, Kevin and Darrell welcomed everyone, had a prayer and said the Pledge of Allegiance.  Then each veteran was introduced and were given a few minutes to talk about their military experience and then were personally presented a full sized folded military burial flag.  After the ceremony those gathered were treated to cake and had a chance to visit with our honored recipients.
