Teresa, We are very saddened about Bear. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Clara, LA, and Josh. We were telling our favorite "Bear" stories today and there are not enough words to express how much we will miss him. Although we only saw him once or twice a year, he had a great impact on our lives. We were honored and blessed to call him "family" and there will never be another "Bear". He walked his testimony and love for his family and God. Our love to you all. Reply to this comment

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I remember Bear when he was our neighbor on Lakemont Drive. He was either at our house with my Dad, Lee or they were at his house. He was such a sweet and caring man. He was so fun to be around and was there if you needed anything. I will miss him dearly. Reply to this comment

Dear Sweet Teresa~~My Heart bleeds for you and your family in this tragic sad , sudden loss of your soulmate Bear. I had heard of "Teresa & Bear" for a long time before meeting the two of you from our circle of friends...sweet, funny, loving stories all good of course and thought I've got to meet this couple but felt as tho I already knew ya'll!? I can only say that EVERYTHING I was ever told about the two of you was so true and then some. I was so blessed and honored to have met ya'll and honestly think it made me a better person as that's the effect ya'll have on people and that's a rare and special gift...I can't imagine the depth of your loss in Bear as he was one of a kind and I thought the world of him as most that knew him. I can only hope that you'll find comfort in your loving memories and knowing that now Bear's walking with Jesus. May God Bless You Now And Always~~~Love, Divell Reply to this comment

Teresa and family, May each of you find comfort during this most difficult time. Know that you all are in our prayers. We were so blessed to have crossed paths with Bear as our neighbor. No matter what we needed he was always on it. Enjoyed lots of deep conversations with him. I will always remember his infectious laugh and no matter how cold it got you would find him outside in cut off blue jeans and barefoot. Happy times! Take comfort in knowing he loved our Lord. Dear Teresa, I read with great sadness the notice of Bear's passing. Remembering your courting days with him and pictures of your wedding, beautiful dress (horrified you wore flip flops but didn't know they were a fashion statement then). All that brings a smile to my face. Teresa, I am so deeply sorry for your sudden loss of your beloved Bear. You and your family are in my prayers. Love and God bless you, Pat Hagerstrand Reply to this comment
