I wonder if he knew that his son-in-law was running a Ponzi scheme. Reply to this comment

My heartfelt condolences to the Veach family. I was blessed to have the opportunity to work with Rick while serving on the board and supervisory committee at Volunteer Corporate. As you all know, Rick was a gentle man of the utmost integrity. Never was a phone call or need for an explanation rushed or questioned. Rick always took the time to explain with the patience of a saint. He was a man that we all could look up to for guidance and mentoring. He will be missed. God bless your family and I will pray for you all during this time of loss. Reply to this comment

Dear Cookie, it was so sad to read about Rick’s death in the paper. I so wish we lived close like did and I could be with you, to help you in anyway that was needed. I often think about Gene coming over to help with the girls when they both were crying, both of you pacing the floor, you with one baby and he with the other baby. I think of the time you came over to show me the picture of the ultra sound and showing me the twins in it. So many memories! Our prayers are with you in this very sad time for you Cookie and the children. I would love to hear from you, my # is 423-886-7079. Please call me when you feel you are up to it. God will help you in this difficult time. Love, Cookie and Gene Reply to this comment

Cookie, Ed and all the Veach children, spouses and grandkids. My heart is heavy and my prayers are many for you all! Rick was like a big brother to me not just a first cousin. We shared lots of time together as a family. From the time I was born Rick has always been a part of my life and a good/positive role model. He taught me alot about life and is a big part of the person I am today! He was and is MY HERO! May the love and comforting grace of Christ our Lord and Savior be with you all in your time of need the rest of your lives. See you soon, Love Rob & Bev Kibble Reply to this comment
