Mrs. Shirley Cannon age 73 of Acworth, Ga. died Saturday January 30, 2021 at Cartersville Medical Center, with her husband by her side.
Mrs. Shirley Cannon was born in Hobbs New Mexico December 13, 1947. She worked at Rich’s and also drove a bus for Cobb and Bartow County Schools. She enjoyed driving special needs Children for 31 years. She worked for the Corp Of Engineers for 6 years. She was a member of Creekside Fellowship Church. She truly loved everyone at Creekside and considered them to be like family.
Shirley had a very contagious laugh that made everyone smile. She loved unconditionally and cared deeply for her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her mother Bonn McCoush. She is survived by her husband of 35 years Bud Cannon. 2 Sons Toni Campbell (Stephanie), Joseph Lee Campbell (Heather). 2 Daughters Christi Rosch, Glenda Cates (Michael), Grandchildren Jeffery, Taylor, Cody, Payton, Braydon, Joseph, Dustin, Shannon, Porsche, Gracie. 6 Great grandchildren and several Cousins.1 brother John McCoush (Lavetta).
Service will be held Thursday February 4, 2021 at Creekside Fellowship Church 585 Old Alabama Rd. Cartersville Ga 30120. Viewing for family and friends from 12:00 to 2:00 Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 with Pastor Mike Abernathy officiating. Dinner will follow for family and close friends.
