We've been with George on and off since pilot training (Webb AFB, 1964). Squadron mate in Vietnam. Neighbor since 1991. Great loss. Rest well, our friend - you have earned it. Reply to this comment

this man! He is a blessing to all that met him or knew him. Never a mean bone in his body, and the eye of an artist. Thank you for Drew’s brick at Atlanta’s Olympic memorial. With love from Shelly, Drew, & Celeste Buchkowski Until we see you again... Reply to this comment

Flew with George many times. Always enjoyed his company in the pilots lounge and the cockpit. Always a gentleman and professional. We shared a common interest in woodworking. Reply to this comment

I flew with George many times in the 70’s & 80’s at Delta. It was always a great feeing to look at the next months flight schedule and see George and I were paired up. Such a cool guy to work with and hang out with. God Bless his family. Reply to this comment

To the family, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that soon God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4) May this promise give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathies. Reply to this comment
