Cathy Ann Talley Avery, of Woodstock, 61, departed this Earth on October11, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Robert Avery, her daughter, JessicaAvery, her mother, Ruth Williams, her brother, Gene Williams, and her brother,James Talley. 

Early in Cathy’s life, she was a caregiver toher younger brothers. This carried on throughout her young adult life when shebecame a mother herself and then pursued a career helping the sick and elderly.She got her CNA and traveled to patient’s homes. She was always well liked bythe people she cared for and she cared for them with empathy and compassion.She had the most beautiful and giving heart. Cathy enjoyed trips to the beachand spent many summers with family and friends at Lake Allatoona. She spent herlater years working for the school system where she developed life longfriendships. Cathy’s final wish was to spend eternity amongst the seas, so herashes will be spread on the coast at a later date.
