July 31, 1944- May 2, 2020

Donald F. Lewis, 75, of Acworth, passed away surrounded by family on May 2, 2020.  Originally from Wilkes Barre, PA, he moved to Ohio in 1967, where he met his wife and started a family before settling in Georgia in 1986.  

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Ruth, three daughters, Rebecca (Shawn) Sartain, Jennifer Migliosi and Lori (Charlie) Minotto, eight grandchildren, a brother Richard of Pennsylvania, and sister Grace of New York, along with extended family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his mother Angeline and two brothers.  

Don served in the United States Air Force, stationed in England, from 1962 to 1966 as an Air Traffic Controller.  He was a member of Ron Asby American Legion Post 304, in Acworth.  He enjoyed getting together with his grandchildren, playing darts, cards, golf and pool as well as putting together puzzles with his wife.
