Dorothy Fay Jenkins

Dorothy Fay Jenkins, age 76, was born October 14, 1946 and died December 25, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Grace Buckner; her husband Charles Jenkins, a grandson Calvin Causey and a brother, Dallas Buckner.   She is survived by two daughters, Charlene Causey (Chuck) and Amanda Gibson.  She leaves behind two grandchildren, Taylor Gibson and Caleb Causey, her siblings, Betty Jenkins, Marie Smith (Roger), Wayne Buckner and Donna Neal (Lloyd), and nieces and nephews.  She leaves behind a sister-in-law, Connie Chastain and several special friends whom she loved.

Dorothy worked and retired from Clorox.  After retiring she enjoyed going to the mountains, beach and casinos.  She loved playing games on her computer and IPad and while in Assisted Living and Nursing Home she loved playing bingo and winning bingo bucks to spend.

A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 2pm at Bethany Baptist Church, 42 Old Alabama Rd, Emerson, GA 30137 with Reverend Dan Willis speaking.
