Dorothy L. Butler, 71, was called home to be with our good Lord on March 1, 2021 in her home in Acworth, GA.

An amazing mother, grandmother, sister, niece, cousin and friend, she was loved by many near and far including Alabama, New Jersey, and Georgia, where she retired. Dorothy was an energetic soul  with a bold personality, with fabulous hair and wardrobe to match. However, her big personality never outshined her heart of gold. She always showered her loved ones with kind words, thoughtful texts, and most of all, her love for cooking. These are just a few of the many things that we will all miss about Dorothy.  Always authentic, you could count on her to 'tell it like it is', but it always came from a place of love.  Above everything else, she was a woman of unwavering faith and strong convictions. Her bond with our Lord is unbreakable.  Now she has been called by our Lord as an angel in Heaven that we can all take comfort in knowing that she will continue to watch over us.

Dorothy leaves behind a host of family and friends, who will continue to love, honor, and adore her immensely.
