Jack S. Christopher

John S. Christopher (Jack) of Acworth, Georgia passed in peace surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta. Jack was born on January 26, 1942 in Buffalo, New York to John and Marie (Cummings) Christopher. He graduated Enunciation High School in 1960 and attended Kent State University. He is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 55 years Annette; son Mark Christopher and his wife Cathleen; daughter Lori Chamberlin; grandchildren Courtney Shanklin, Joe Christopher, Nina, Hope and Gianna Chamberlin; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jack will be fondly remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, community volunteer and friend.  He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Jack’s funeral mass will be held Saturday June 9, 2018 at 10:30am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1618 Ben King Road, Kennesaw, GA 30144.  A brief reception will immediately follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to  St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
