Michael (Mike) Jon Franzwa, 60, of Cartersville, GA, died April 15, 2018.

Mike was born on November 20, 1957, to Lyman Franzwa and LaVonne Franzwa (Santala). He graduated from Spring Valley, WI, high school in 1976. Mike served his country in the U.S. Army from 1976-1979, including a tour in South Korea. Mike married Tina Webb, and their happy and loving marriage produced a daughter, Ahmi, and eventually a granddaughter, Penelope. Mike was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan. He was a scratch golfer. He loved going on family vacations. He was a hard worker at his job, extremely devoted to his family, and worked hard around their home to make it a comfortable and hospitable place. Mike's sense of humor was appreciated by all, including his co-workers. Mike is survived by his wife Tina, his daughter Ahmi (James) Austin, granddaughter Penelope Austin, mother LaVonne Santala, brother Jeff (Sherrie) Franzwa, and sister Holly (Jon) Rigotti, and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lyman Franzwa.

I went to school in Spring Valley with Mike. He was a great classmate and person. Had a lot of fun with Mike. I often thought of him at class reunions and hoped he might show up. My sympathy to the family and we’ll catch up in heaven Mike!!!! Reply to this comment

I wish to extend my sympathy to Mikes family. I grew up with Mike in Wisconsin..We has a lot of fun together playing sports and just hanging out. We hadnt seen each other for 35 years but I still considered him a close friend. So long buddy. Reply to this comment

Im so sorry for your loss and I wanted to send my heartfelt sympathy. I find comfort in the promise of a resurrection at John 5:28,29. We have the wonderful opportunity to see our loved ones again under the beautiful conditions described at Psalms 37:10,11. I hope these scriptures bring you some peace during your difficult time.
