How I remember Bob from Franklin School. Great classmate and childhood friend. He is face to face with the King of Kings and the Lord of lords. Amen and amen. Hugs and blessings to his family and friends. Reply to this comment

I am very saddened to hear of Bob's passing to Glory. All of us from that time have many great memories of Franklin School in Dolton. That was a simpler time -- Bob (Robert as I remember him being called in school) was a part of that group -- with the mischievous boys -- just being boys and having fun. He will be missed! God bless you and your family and may He shower many blessings on you in days to come. Reply to this comment

Jill, I will never forget Bob, and U celebrate your life and Bob's life and journey with the Lord. I believe he is now a part of that "great cloud of witnesses" Paul write about and along with God, witnesses what we do and say and is praising Him now for all He has done for him and each of us in bringing each of us into His presence. May God's peace be set in your heart now with the knowledge that God is sovereign and in Him is no darkness at all. We are praying for you and your family to cherish all the memories and the time with Bob that God gave you...What an incredible gift! Reply to this comment

Bob's passing reminds us about God's precious gift of life and that we are all called to do His work. Bob always portrayed a man of God and blessed others with his caring heart and inviting presence. I know our Lord is pleased with Bob as he joins His presence - well done good and faithful servant. Bob will be greatly missed and I pray for comfort for Jill and all of their family. Jill and Family, Words can't express how much Bob will be missed by everyone. Continuing to remember everyone in prayer and please let me know if I can do ANYTHING! I love you all.... Please find comfort in John 14:1-6 as Bob already has his "room" and looking down on all. Reply to this comment

The very first time we visited Branches, Bob was standing out front of the church before going in. Joel saw that as the opportunity to make his first acquaintance there and rushed up to him to shake his hand and introduce himself! Jill said Bob sat down with her upon going in and said Joel was the first visitor he'd ever met who just rushed up to him before being welcomed! Well...Jill was the first person I met. She told me after we'd been there several years that she said on the first Sunday that we'd be back. After several years, we can't imagine being anywhere other than Branches to join in our faith journey. We've always considered Bob and Jill to be the "First Family" since that first day. God bless you, Jill, as we pray that God's grace will bathe you in His love. You and your family are very much loved dear one. Reply to this comment
