Sandra O'Neal

Sandra “Sandy” O’Neal passed away at the age of 74 on the morning of May 21, 2018. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Elizabeth Ware, two granddaughters, Makaela and Skylar Ware, a daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Grant Porter and a brother, George O’Neal. She was a homecoming queen in high school and still kept in touch with many of her high school friends. She spent most of her professional life as a very successful leasing agent and worked for companies such as Post Properties and Gables Residential.

Sandy was a devout Christian. She lived out her last 10 years in Cartersville and really enjoyed her time there. In lieu of flowers, it was Sandy’s wishes that donations be made in her name to the Scleroderma Foundation at http://www.scleroderma.org or at 1-800-722-4673. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 16th at 2 p.m. at Cartersville First Baptist Church, 241 Douthit Ferry Road, Cartersville, GA 30120.  Condolences can be left at www.GeorgiaFuneralCare.com
