Judy is my best friend growing up on the East side of Pueblo. As a child I didn’t speak much with Mr. Russell. I mistook his silence for a stern and intimidating giant. Then the Russell’s moved away and life went on. Then one day Judy reached out to my parents looking for me to invite me to her wedding. Because of Judy and Wayne’s wedding I reconnected with a dear friend and her family. What a blessing to meet Mr. Russell once again. That stern man I feared as a child turned out to be a gentle, kind, big ‘ol teddy bear. Mr. Russell thank you for showing me kindness and love. I will miss you greatly. My condolence and love to the Russell family. Edy Reply to this comment

He was one of the finest men I have ever had the joy to meet and get to know. I can not express the sadness and emptiness in my heart to lose someone like Uncle Tommy who was always around growing up. He helped me many times when I had fallen to get back on the right track. Sometimes he was a man of few words and others he would make you laugh all night. He was a strong, godly, and wise man. I will always look up to you uncle Tommy. To the family, I am truly sorry about your loss , no one could ever fill his spot. Words really cannot express the sympathy and heartbreak I am sure we all feel.I miss you all and hope you understand why I could not be there for the service. I love you all and may God bless us and keep us. Reply to this comment
