Van Bowling

Van Dorn Bowling, IV 1996-2022

Van fulfilled his purpose and went home to be with the Lord on August 19, 2022, at the age of 26. He passed from complications of Osteogenesis Imperfecta and congenital heart failure.

Van's illness fueled his desire for selfless acts of kindness. He was an extraordinary young man who believed that helping others would make him whole, and it did. Van was rewarded with joy in his heart when he accomplished tasks that would support another person's well-being. He did it over and over until his heart did not have the capacity to hold the rewards, so the Lord took him home. He is finally free from sickness, the battle is won, and Eternity is his new reward.

He will be missed by all who were blessed and impacted by his light, sincerity, sense of humor, and willingness to love and live his life in peace.

His Celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 28th @ 2:00 pm in Acworth at Georgia Funeral Care. 4167 S Main Street Acworth, GA 30101  4671 S Main St, Acworth, GA 30101
