William Facey

William Facey of Kennesaw, Georgia was a man of extraordinary compassion and kindness, left this world on November 19, 2018, but his legacy of love lives on. Born on April 17, 1951 in New York City to William and Jeannette Parker, he transcended the difficulties of becoming a foster child to earn the rank of sergeant as a member of the 82nd Airborne in the army, serve as a chaplain who lovingly ministered to people who were homeless or simply forgotten, and be a deeply caring husband to his wife of 32 years, Denise. Most importantly, he was a man of God who left an indelible imprint of strength and faith on all who knew him.

He is survived not only by his wife but also by his son, Ariel (Josie) Facey of Knoxville, Tennessee; his aunt, Nancy (Phil) Blackwood of Red Bank, New Jersey; his cousin, Mustafa Ahmed of Lithonia, Georgia; as well as an extensive array of other family members and friends who dearly loved him. With his passing, heaven’s gain is truly this world’s loss.
