William "Ryvon" Gay, age 66, of Marietta, GA, died August 30, 2018.  Services to be announced. 

William “Ryvon “Gay  born 11/26/1951, in Detroit, Michigan to William, and Gwendolyn Gay he moved to Los Angeles, Calif 

as a young boy, later to Altadena where he graduated from John Muir High School. Ryvon joined the United States Navy  there he proudly served from August 1971 to January 1974. He had no biological children but with a dad to many. He worked as a  Master Mechanic in the Construction trade for many years before he retired . One of his favorite things in life was fishing and he was an avid fisherman. He was a great mentor, friend and best brother ever!  May he Rest In Peace with love.

We love you Ry'Von and will miss you. Thank you for being a great uncle to Kingsley! You exposed him to golf and baseball, i wish we would have had a chance to go fishing...as you mentioned it often. I'll miss the way you laughed, the jokes and stories you told. Much love Reply to this comment

Though we had difference, we had a special bond as brothers. Agree or disagree, it didn't matter. We continued to be brothers. Now I can only think about the great times we shared. As I shed tears while posting this, I know that God did what was best. I'll miss your voice, smile, humour and physical presence here on earth. I pray to see you again in the Kingdom.
