She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Theodore Lasayko, her parents, John and Mary Plaj, a sister Anne Makis, and her brother John Plaj, Jr.

She was a member of church women’s circles, Bible study groups, and American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling with her husband visiting many states from coast to coast and Hawaii. In her younger days, she loved to read books and crochet, producing lovely afghans and intricate doilies. Visiting with her great grandchildren in recent years always brought a smile to her face and joy to her heart.
