Richard Watson

Richard LaRay Watson, 53, passed away on March 22, 2022, from heart disease at his home in Georgia. He was an excellent nurse and mentored many new nurses. He had a passion for fishing and for lakes and rivers, and loved to throw the fly rod equipped with his hand-tied flies while catching shoal bass on the Ocmulgee River. He was a craftsman that could build from scratch or refurbish to better than new.  He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

Richard is preceded in death by his father Thomas Watson, his grandparents and two uncles. He is survived by his mother Catherine Mobley and sister Kimberly Watson. He was a proud father to his daughter Bailey Grace Watson.
