Dorothy Soleau

Mrs. Dorothy Soleau, age 95, passed away at home on May 4, 2021, Mrs. Soleau was born in Ohio to William and Cora Roy.

Dorothy grew up in the Detroit area. Dorothy and her sister Mary were singers in the 1940s and 1950s. They traveled with The Ford Motor Company for previewing new vehicles through Illinois, Detroit, and New York. They also sang at the Waldorf Astoria on New Years Eve. Later Dorothy gave up singing and married Donald W. Cronenwett, together they had three children, David, Cindy, and Susan.

Donald Cronenwett, David and Susan preceding Dorothy in passing; as well as her parents William & Cora and brothers, Ralph, David and Teddy and her sister Mary.

She is survived by her daughter and her son-in-law, Bill and Cindy, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
