Ivey Lee Wright, Sr.

Ivey Lee Wright, Sr. was born in Macon, Georgia on June 12, 1930. He was a war veteran having served in Korea in the army. He retired from the Macon Water Works after 35 years as head engineer. He also retired from the Macon Telegraph and News after 28 years. Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Brenda Jean Wright. They were married 68 years. He is survived by two sons, Ivey Lee Wright, Jr, and Jerrell Clovis Wright. He has 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Ivey is survived by one brother- JT Wright and twosisters- Lilly Randall and Sybil Chief. He worked and lived in Macon, GA for 84 years and then moved to the Silver Creek/Rome to live with their son for the last 7 years.  Services to be announced.
