Aunt Mary was a treasured part of my childhood memories. She always had a hug and a smile to offer us. My adolescent years were spent sharing Sunday’s at the Matuson home in South Florida. It was like stepping back into an old Florida story, with Mike and Jerry, Louise and Cory listening to Uncle Lou’s story telling while my mom and dad, Ken and Betty, my sister Debi, and brother, Robbie gathered round. The days were long, and so were the stories. Aunt Mary knew them all, but still laughed each time she heard them. Like my Grandma Sartor, she embodied unconditional love. She joins Lou, Louise, Loda, and all of her other beloved family in Heaven now. God Bless you always Aunt Mary. We love you. Reply to this comment

Thank you for being such a loving and generous grandmother. You were one of the best parts of my childhood. I imagine not only is she with the family up in heaven, but with Sophia, Blanche, and Dorothy...just another one of the Golden Girls. Love you always, Menom Reply to this comment
