Ronald T. Kraut Sr., 63, passed away on November 20, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. A native of Chicago, IL, Ron moved his family to Cartersville, GA in 1991, where he opened his own small business. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Ron was much loved by family and friends who appreciated his quick wit and great sense of humor. His family always came first and he took great pleasure in cooking for them and planning family events. He will be greatly missed by his wife Marcia, his children, Ron (Hailey), Alexis (Josh) Weathers, Sheila (Josh) King, Stephanie (Chad) Brittian, Nicholas, and Anthony; his twelve grandchildren who adored him, Ronald III, Liam, AnnaGrace, Madeline, Isabelle, Joshua, Cohen, Hunter, Bridgette, Piper, Isla, and Henry; his brothers and sisters, Gregory, Larry, Frank (Josie), Barbara, Denise Delmedico and Jerry, and Debbie (Tom) Discher; father and mother-in-law Ronald and Myrna Markowicz ; and numerous cousins, brothers and sisters-in law and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene J. Kraut, his father, Frank J. Kraut, his sister Patricia Holland, and his brother Richard.
A memorial service in honor of Ron will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 850 Douthit Ferry Road, Cartersville, Georgia.
