Bill enjoyed woodworking, tennis, golf, gardening, traveling, 50’s rock and roll music, and all types of puzzles.  He created a beautiful rose garden from which he delivered a rose every day during the spring and summer to his wife and others.   He had volunteered as a soccer coach, worked with the Pope color guard and band, and helped in the St. Peter and Paul memorial garden.

He is survived by his wife, Pat, of 48 ½ years, son Mark (Tammy) of Marietta, Georgia; daughter Lori (Craig) of Roswell, Georgia, and grandchildren Kate, Craig,Jr., Colin, Trevor, and Quinn.   He is also survived by his sister-in-law Gail, brother-in-law Glenn, sister Karen, brother Rich, and nephews Tim, Mike, David, and Eric.

Bill was a kind and generous man with a quiet sense of humor.  He will be greatly missed by loved ones who celebrate that he is at peace, smiling and laughing with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A celebration of his life will be held at St. Peter and Paul Episcopal Church, 1795 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta, on Saturday, January 26, at 1:00 p.m. with reception to follow.    In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation be made to the St. Peter and Paul Memorial Garden.

Bill’s family would like to thank the Tranquility Hospice Center staff in Marietta for the loving care they provided to him and his family.
