Walter T. Smith 84 passed away Sept 28th at Harbor Grace Hospice Atlanta after a brief illness. Born in Columbus Ga in 1933 he is preceeded in death by his parents George Smith and Gensee Hood, and stepmother Johnny Mae Smith as well as two sisters Gwen Smith and Joyce Cook. He was a veteran of the Korean war serving from 1951-1954. He worked for the USPS, sold insurance, and worked for a country club during his lifetime. Retiring to West Palm Beach he spent his final year of life residing in Atlanta Ga with his daughter. He is survived by several children, Roberta (Stacey) Smith-Pratt of Atlanta, Natalie Smith, Tulsa Ok, Walter T. Smith, Hampton Va, Xavier (Goo) Smith, Wisconson, Andrew Allen(Cruz) WPB. His surviving sisters Georgia Gilbert of WPB, Canta Johnson of Maryland, Rita Robinson of Ca, Denise Smith of NJ, Shirley Smith of South Fl, Hope Smith, and Wanda Smith of NJ, plus many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Burial services to be announced

I loved my Uncle Bobby's, a.k.a Uncle Peanut's, warm greeting of "Que Pasa?" followed by "What's happening?" with a tight hug and vibrant smile! I thought he was so cool and charismatic! I know that he is well and with me always, smiling with that unmistakable laugh! RIP Uncle Bobby! Reply to this comment
