William John Mitchell, also known as “Bill”, was born on October 22, 1965, in Pontiac, MI. He moved to Plano, Texas at age 12 and graduated High School from Texas before moving to Nashville TN where he received his associates in architecture. He received his degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and then moved to Atlanta, GA.  It was in Atlanta where Bill met his wife, Jennifer, and they were married in 1998. 

Bill was an entrepreneur at heart and with the support of his wife and family, he built a successful design company, WJM Designs.  He designed many homes, restaurants, and business spaces throughout the Eastern part of the country. 

His vision for detail and design naturally led him to photography as a hobby. His love for photography started at a young age and led him to travel the world to capture the perfect shot at the perfectly planned time of day. His loving wife, Jennifer, followed in tow helping to carry his photography equipment in rain and snow. Each was always eager for another adventure together that brought them to new places. 

In addition to his wife, Jennifer, he is survived by his mother, Sue Mitchell of New Port Richie, FL., his daughter Jackie Balouch of Marietta, GA.,  his son Adam Yeaple of Marietta, GA., his daughter Kaylyn Mitchell of Marietta, GA., his son Jarrett Mitchell of Marietta, GA., and his granddaughters Quinn and Stella Balouch of Marietta, GA.
