Mary Jane Simpkins

Mary Jane Simpkins, 56, of Cedartown, GA, came to rest on March 16, 2020 at her residence.

Jane was born in Carrollton, GA on March 16, 1964 and worked as a Medical Office Assistant in Polk, Floyd, and Bartow counties, and also had worked at Walmart, Meggitt, and Murata. She enjoyed traveling with family to the Smoky Mountains and her favorite, Panama City Beach, where she could walk the beach early in the morning and collect seashells.  She is truly missed by her only son, Ben Simpkins & daughter-in-law Melissa of Rockmart, father J.R. Skinner (Brenda) and brother Johnny of Ranger, brother Mike Skinner of Vernon, TX, sister Martha Skinner of Maysville, and sister-in-law Amy Carducci (Daniel) and niece, Isabella Carducci of Acworth, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.  Jane is preceded in death by the love of her life, Robert Bryan Simpkins, and her mother Kathryn Skinner.  Jane was cremated and will be buried next to Bryan in the Aragon Cemetery at the family’s discretion. Her family is monitoring current events and will hold a Celebration of Jane’s life when it is safer to do so.  Please leave a kind word for the family at www.GeorgiaFuneralCare.com
