Michael Franklin Laye, age 48, of Marietta, GA. It is with great sadness that the family of Michael F. Laye announces his passing on Monday, October 22, 2018.
He was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a devoted husband, and always generous with his time to help those around him. He received his MBA from Georgia State University and was a proud Indiana University graduate. In addition, he was a talented musician and singer. He never met a manx he didn’t like.
Michael will be lovingly remembered by his family, wife Pamela Garay Laye, sister Donna Laye Denis and husband Randy, Brenda Howell Laye, parents-in-law Merlie and Rom Garay, brother-in-law Rome Garay and wife Julie, brother-in-law Anthony Garay and wife Srey, nieces and nephews – Brian Denis and wife Heather, Matt Denis and wife Mary, Natalee Laye, Christopher Laye, Hannah Garay, Angela Garay, Rachel Garay, Reid Garay and Madison Garay, and grand-nieces and nephew – Brandt Denis, Smith Denis, Harper Denis, Dylan Denis and Taylor Denis.
Michael is predeceased by father Donald F. Laye, mother Patsy H. Laye, and brother J. Gregory Laye. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 27, at 10:00 am at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 675 Riverside Drive, Roswell, GA 30075, presided by Father Daniel Fleming. The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:30 am in the church vestibule.
