Wiley Oliver Hammonds Sr  was called home to be with the Lord on Friday January 22 2021 he was born on May 28 1944 in Taylorsville Ga. to Prather Hammonds and Katie Melissa Lindsey  He was preceded in death by his sister Gertrude Colston and his youngest son Jonathon Lamar Hammonds He is survived by his twin brother Riley Toliver Hammonds his eldest daughter Katie Melissa Hammonds his eldest son Wiley Oliver Hammonds Jr (Linda Tomblin) daughter Dealie Belle Rebecca Morrison (Michael Morrison) daughter Janet Denise Gore he is also survived by grand children Amber Danielle McLeod, Amanda McLeod , Logan Mcleod, Alaina Marie Jenkins, Michael Morrison Jr, Janice Denise Cole,Brianna Nicole Smith as well as seven great grand children he is also survived by his long time friend and caregiver Brenda Coleman 

He served in the United States Army and was an ordained minister and evangelist He was loved while he was with us and will be deeply missed

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, 5 PM, in the chapel of Georgia Funeral Care, Acworth, GA.
