Corazon “Zony” Bayan Betschart, age 65, of Cartersville, GA, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021, after her courageous battle with cancer. Zony was born on January 30, 1956, in Pasig, Philippines. She studied at Quezon City Medical Center obtaining her degree as a Registered Nurse in 1977 before coming to the United States of America with her sister Victoria in 1978. She was preceded in death by her parents Rustico and Timotea Bayan. She is survived by sisters Victoria Strang (Geoff), Nora Bayan, brothers Bayani Bayan (Helen), Eddie Bayan (Stan), sons Jonathan Betschart, Kevin Betschart (Stephanie), several nieces and nephews, her grandchildren Olivia, Jaxton, Alexander, and Kayden Betschart, and partner Mark Harvey. She loved spending time with family and friends, loved animals of all kinds, enjoyed going to Zumba classes, crafting, cooking, and taking care of her flowers. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021 at 5 pm.
