Edwin Glenn Brooks, Jr, 61, of Smyrna, GA passed away on May 4, 2020 after a recent illness.  Originally from Calhoun, GA, he moved to Atlanta in 1976 to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology.  Through a mutual friend there he met his wife and they lived in Cobb County their entire marriage. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Sherrie (McClendon), a son Alex, a daughter Jessica, and a sister Ann (Brooks) Sleep of Tallahassee, along with extended family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his mother Winona (Early) Brooks and father Ed Brooks.
